Listening to XFM Radio is always a good way to kick off your evening, so as I am listening to it right now as always heres a little reminder of what has happened in Music over the past years.

2008: Heather Mills and Paul McCartney appeared at the High Court in London for a hearing to reach a financial settlement for their divorce. The settlement could have reached up to a whopping £60                  Million.

2007: Mika went to No.1 on the UK Album Chart with his debut album ‘Life In Cartoon Motion’.

2001: Dido started a Five-Week reign at No.1 on the UK Album Chart with ‘No Angel’.

1995: Celine Dion held the UK No.1 Single’s position for the second of Seven Weeks with ‘Think Twice’.

1989: New Order Scored their first No.1 Album with ‘Technique’. 

1987: The Smiths were at No.1 in the UK Indie Charts with ‘Shoplifters Of The World Unite’. 

1982: U2 kicked off a thirty two date North American Tour in New Orleans.

Jamie T Announces A Tour?

Singer/Song Writer Jamie T has announced a string of club Shows in late dates of February and early stages of March. Mr Jamie T is currently still working on his second album so news on that and his tour is  still yet to come, although we have the dates right now:

Soft Pack Announce Mini-Tour…………

San Diego Born Four some Soft Pack have recently announced dates of a tour they will performing, along with dates they will be touring Franz Ferdinand with. The Four piece will be touring following the upcoming release of a Seven-Inch-Vinyl titled ‘Nightlife’ with a backing of ‘Brightside’. Kicking off in February, the band will play:

Los Campesinos Announce Tour?

Los Campesinos have confirmed that they are extending their North American tour which will leave them touring till April; the Spring time month!!!! The band are following their recent triumph of their second album which was released last year titled ‘We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed’ which was released in November 2008. The band will play:
