London’s 02 Arena will be featuring an amazing and exclusive 22,000 Square Foot permanent exhibition to celebrate Sixty years of Popular Music from March 9th. The exhibition will feature over a Hundred artists including Amy Winehouse, The Who’s Roger Daltrey and Oasis‘ Noel Gallagher with contributions from well known Guitar makes Gibson and Epiphone and Drums from Slingerland! The whole exhibition will cover the top floor of the arena with most of it being interactive. The public will be able to see memorabilia from stars we only dream about, it even has viewings of Noel Gallagher’s Union Jack Guitar and an Amy Winehouse Vintage dress, so the place is a once in a life time Music Experience. Visitors will also be able to view step by step Video Guitar tuition from artists like The Magic Numbers and Amy MacDonald who will also guide their viewers from some of their hits too. The Killers To Play Hove Festival?

Las Vegas born band The Killers are set to headline at this years Hove Festival in the island of Tromoya in Norway. The bands announcement was made on their website, the post read:

“The Killers are pleased to announce a headline performance at Hove 09 in Norway. We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday 23rd of June. “

So it must mean they are confirmed to play at the gig. The already confirmed acts are Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed, Metronomy, Crookers and Hockey. So a good Line-Up so far eh? The gig is set to be in the Mid Dates of June 20 – 25th, so the gig should be a Sunny one!

White Stripes To Return?

Detroit Duo White Stripes are set to make a comeback on the US TV Show ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien’  on the NBC Channel. Jack and Meg White are to perform on the show but its yet to be told if they are performing with New Material or some of their old classic stuff. The band haven’t been seen together since 2008 so the comeback show should be a great one! Hopefully the twosome will reunite for good and produce a kicking new album because this is a good year for Music! Even U2, My Chemical Romance and Green Day are back in the Studio’s!

With Morrissey releasing his Album today and U2 releasing their new Single ‘Get On Your Boots’ this week, we are sure to be having a lot of trips to HMV to get all those latest hits before your mates do.
