Following the recent success of her previous album, Lily Allen popped up on to the Charts at No.1 releasing her first single ‘The Fear’ before than releasing an out burst of an album; ‘It’t Not Me,It’s You’. Look below the Album artwork to read what the whole thing is about, every album has a meaning especially if its by a butt kicking artist…………
The album premiers quite explicit tracks, including a track which is named after an offensive word. The album is a good triumph from the singer as it features many pop songs which is unlike her usual stuff. All the tracks are very up beat and follows a certain rhythm which is a good thing when you have a voice like Lily’s one of a kind one. The first Single of her Album was titled ‘The Fear’ which features a very up beat backing track with some Synthesizers spread out on a fair scale, overall the single is a good track, although its very ironic when the singer mentions this line “Now I’m not a saint but I’m not a sinner,And everything’s cool as long as I’m getting thinner”, the line left people indecisive of whether it says that or not, the line is true in fact as these days young singers like to keep there figures too in proportion making themselves much to thin because of the public eye; but that’s another story.
The album chooses to start off with track “Everyone’s At It’ which is very lyrical, the lyrics are deep and have a feel of realness in it. The track titled “22″ is one of our favourites as its a bum shaker, and ashoulder wiggler of a track, it gets you movinnnng. We think this album is deffinately worth buying as every single on the album is worth dragging yourself to the dance floor to have a bit of a boogie. File this CD next to Kate Nash and Adele.
