84_nmeawards_l230206Tonight is the well awaited Shockwaves NME Awards Ceremony which features Live performances from very unlikely acts. The awards ,which are Bronze Hands in the shape of as an extended Middle Finger [As Pictured To The Left], will be holding an number of talented guests including God-Like Geniuses The Cure and also Dark Indie Rockers White Lies. logo_red_nose_day_2009Red Nose Day has come again with yet another wacky Single being produced. Robin Gibb (Bee Gees), Tom Jones and ‘Gavin & Stacey’ actors Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones will be singing One of the Two Official Singles for this years ‘Do Something Funny For Money’ Red Nose Day. The foursome have already recorded theGavin & Stacey’ styled Nine Minute long Video  in preparation for Comic Relief on 13th March. ‘Barry Islands In the Stream‘ is the song they are set to perform, A Song that came from the original track ‘Islands In The Stream’ which Robin Gibb from the legendary Bee Gees Co-Wrote with a number of others. All Money made for the ’soon to be a hit’ Record will go to the less fortunate people living in the UK and Africa.
