Shockwaves NME Awards 2009 Announced…………

As previously reported, yesterday was the Shockwaves NME Awards 2009, so today as its the NME Awards Big Gig 2009 (Featuring The Cure & Other Guests) we have the Winners for your little eyes to view. Before we get to the Winners list, lets set the scene.

It was a dark, chilly night at 02 Academy Brixton, stars flooded down the Red Carpet in their latest outfits. Bands were anxious as Singers were restless, they all wanted the big one. They all finally took their seats in the place, waiting for the show to begin, then the lights came on cheering of the crowd filled the room. Its time for the Winners…………

So ummm a nice intro there then hehe. Winners list of 2009 are:

The Killers For V Festival 2009?

up-1killToday it’s been reported in The Daily Star’ that Alternative Legends The killers are to headline this years V Festival. The Festival company haven’t yet announced a full Line-Up, but they have explained that the Gig is being held in Chelmsford and Staffordshire on 22nd-23rd August 2009. As fans of The Killers ourselves, we are hoping ‘The Daily Star’ is right, as we wold love a chance to catch Brandon Flowers & Co. perform Live after their recently announced butt kicking Album ‘Day And Age’.
